Mig for sale
« on: January 18, 2008, 09:43:34 AM »
Yeah might seem like a shock but I'm finished with dogs for now. I'm goin back to start fresh, in a few months with 1 pup. Too many things can wrong where I am with a pack of hunting dogs and way to busy with no end to it.
Migs a good Dog, he's big and strong and has a very good nose. I could compare his work rate when he's fit to any Arab. He's seen a few very nice boars from the jungle country and gulf and cape boars and his best catch was a boar in sugar cane he hunted for 40 minutes straight to catch and hold him.
I want $500 for him with his chest plate included.
Ali's on her way home to Bob, me young cattle bitch is off to me sons and Obbie I have to find a home for. He may stay a little longer.

No Tony, it aint anything more then I havnt got the time.  Robbie and Raff, sorry buddy, Mig is a dog that needs experienced hands mate. For now I'll hold off and see what happens with who looks at him.
Theres nothing wrong with the dog as he and Obbie just caught a boar and got busted but where, I dont know.

gord build some kennels mate, even if they are transportable ones, will save you from having problems of the dogs pissing off going hunting by themselves if you cant get them out

good on ya for doing whats best for the dogs but, they deserve to work, thats what they love

Gord it seems a shame to get rid of the team just to have a few months off and then have to start up again with pups mate.

You cant lock a hunting dog Stag, not these and also mate, 1 step from my yard is pigs, they and me both can smell them.
I'm not hurting or sulking or havnt thought about it, and it aint over jim either. I took on too many dogs back when and now it is I'm busy. I could tie them, pen them and wait for the rain to go but I still dont know when I slow down with work. Its not a rash decision. I love these dogs but it is now getting yeah well maybe this is better. If Jim was here, I would have moved the rest on as jim would stay around home or me at work unless he was told, thats why I wrap that dog up, he done what I wanted and told him.
Mig is for sale and he is going cheap as he is well experienced but he isnt just going to anybody. If someone wants him and he/she is in the same boat as me I feel, well I will not let him go.
If I cool off, well maybe he wont go at all, :naughty: if I know sometimes but somethings gotta change.

If I had room Gord I would love to take him  he is close incase you change your mind. I just cant take another dog.
To anyone who is interested he is a hard worker and he lives to catch pigs. He will be an asset to any team or one out.

look gord its sad that ur getting out of hunting for a few moths it really is but how do u know that raff and robbie arnt experencied enough, i now a guy who got robbie into pig hunting and i was speaking to him the other day bout robbie and raff and he said that he hunts really well has good dogs and takes pride in his sport,

so if it was me selling one of my dogs then i would want someone to have him with similar features as i want my dog to go to a god home so if ur going to sell him it wouldnt be a bad idea to sell him to robbie and raff!!!

cheers mate and goodluck in the future with wat eva u decide!!

I dont need the dog Grunta hunta , ive got 4 dogs that all find. Thought ide just try and help the old coot out.  Im on 105 acres and the dogs get run every day and Gordy only live 20 mins from me. I know hes gunna change his mind one day and if the dogs miles away then he has no opption. Matt
