Working bitch forsale
« on: September 12, 2006, 06:02:38 PM »
Hi all...I bought this bitch a few years ago for $500.00 to fill a gap,she has served her purpose and its time to move her on.If i was doing more hunting i would definately keep her.

This bitch is a handy dog,she is no champion finder, but she is a short range finder none the less.If she is on her own she will let out a heap of barking before hitting up on a decent pig[silent on small stuff],If she is having problems, she will bail untill help arrives, she never backs down. She can be cast[directed by pointing with hand] onto pigs she hasnt seen or smelt, she will look back for directions untill she is onto scent or seen the pig.Obedient.Never barks, wimpers or whines at home, extremely quiet. No vices whatsoever. She used to run on,and letgo of pigs once person has grabbed pig, lack of work changed that.Very healthy dog and has strong immune system, never needs antibiotics when ripped badly.Excellent Capeyork type dog.Probably seen a couple of hundred pigs, heaps of Cape boars on her own.

If you need a dog to fill a gap,or you just getting into piggin,or a dog to compliment your pack, she is an ideal dog.If you want a lead dog to do some serious finding from the ute in the mountains, she is not for you.

Best offer....

thats lady isnt it, she looks good mate

still think to this day she would of been perfect for me, just dont have the numbers available

do you know the history of her breeding? the grand dam on both sides was the same greyhound, called lady. Clint explained it to me a while back, but i got a bit lost in it all.
