Finder for sale
« on: September 21, 2007, 04:20:10 PM »
Im selling a finder. She's finding off the ute but no world beater. Hunted the NSW mts her whole life and been to the cape. Probably been on hundreds of pigs all up. only 2yrs only. Kelpie x Bully Greyhound. A lot of potential in her. Bails on her own and luggs with other dogs

MUST SELL HER BY THIS WEEKEND as I just moved house and can only keep 2 dogs.

$150.

Don't bother asking questions on the net cause I will not be on it. If your keen, give me a call.

Currently located in Darwin, so would rather sell her locally.
First in best dressed.

You can actually have more dogs up here than in NSW. You just have to pay extra for the extra dogs and inform the council. Nearly every yard up here has a dog so it's a bit of a way of life.
I just moved into a house that I am renting and the agents wern't real keen on the dogs but I convinced them that I only have 2 well behaved dogs so they bought it.

Yes it's Joshy's old dog.

Don't know, didn't ask and don't care. My priority was to make sure she went to a good home.

How do you check if the dogs going to a good home.  I've sold a few pups and dogs over the years and unless you personally know the buyer or they get referred by someone you know who has integrity, then the buyer can tell you anything especially over the internet or phone.
Cheers Tony.

I met them in person. I am sure most of us can tell a person's charecter after that. It's not hard to ask the hard questions, and get the truth out of people. I like to ask the same question several times but in a different way. That's where you trip people up. I also ensured that they will keep in close contact afterwards, which makes a difference too.
Inid is a dog that can not be kept locked up for a long time. One of the most important thing in her going to a good home was the work she would get. The fellas that got her hunt every 3 nights.

At the end of the day, I was happy she would go to a good home.

Good to see.  A lot of puppy peddlers will sell a hunting dog to any knob and then we wonder why we see dogs involved in attacks on people.
Cheers Tony.
