Hunter education is a never-ending process

The APDHA is committed to assisting new and experienced hunters expand their skills list through the provision of reading material, online courses and face to face lessons.

As part of the commitment we will concentrate on three key areas of education development.

  1. Hunting and bushcraft
  2. Dog handling and training
  3. Environmental and biosecurity awareness

Hunting and bushcraft might include hunting different terrain, seasons and times.

Dog handling might include dog psychology, practical training and drills and field work.

Environmental awareness might include information on specific environmental issues, including flora and fauna, disease identification and awareness and general biosecurity.

This section of the website will grow and develop as more opportunities to present useful and effective information arise.
