POACHERS PARADISE

Unfortunately, in every activity there are those that consider that their wishes can be pursued without regard to the law or respect for others. In the hunting world, the worst of these are the poachers, those that hunt on land without permission from the landholder. Some do no damage other than disregarding the rights of the landholder, others can only be described as outright thieves or vandals. The APDHA makes no distinction between them, all are poachers and as such bring hunting into disrepute, thus threatening its continued existence as a legal pastime. In all cases where the APDHA receives documentary evidence of conviction for hunting offences committed on land illegally accessed, the offenders details will be published in the following list. In any cases where, following receipt of a formal complaint from a landholder regarding poaching by an APDHA member, subsequent committee investigation and, if adjudged guilty, expulsion from APDHA membership the expelled members details shall also be published.

All involved parties, hunters, landholders, media and authorities, are invited to assist in the APDHA fight against poaching by submitting any documentary evidence of such convictions to:

Australian Pig Doggers and Hunters Association, Inc, PO Box 120, SUMNER PARK QLD 4074 or via e-mail.
